The basics

What is Servio?

A self-hosted panel that runs game servers, bots and websites on your own machines, sells them with billing and a storefront, and gives your players a webstore and forums. It's modular: install only what you need.

How do I try it?

Open the live demo: it runs in your browser with made-up data, nothing to install. When you're ready, install Servio on a Linux machine with Docker. Personal use is free and needs no key.

Who makes it?

NullDaily, the small company behind Stavo. Servio Node is built on the node daemon NullDaily first wrote for Stavo.

Which games does it run?

Anything that runs in a Linux container and has an egg. Bundled eggs cover Paper, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge and other Minecraft flavours, Bedrock, Valheim, Rust, Terraria and Palworld, and you can import Pterodactyl and Pelican eggs or write your own.

Does it host more than game servers?

Yes. Bots (Discord, Telegram, Twitch and others) and websites (static, PHP or Node apps like Next.js, with their own domain and automatic TLS) run on the same nodes. So do S3-compatible storage, a CDN and managed databases, and a hosting company can sell each of them as a plan.

Money

What does it cost?

Free for personal use: up to 3 nodes and 50 servers, no selling. To sell, a commercial license is one payment per major version: Starter $149 (5 nodes), Pro $349 (10 nodes) or Unlimited $799. See Pricing.

Do you take a cut of sales?

No. We take no fees. You only pay your payment provider. That holds for hosting sales, webstores and the hosted edition.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per major version and get every 1.x update. Servio 2.0 is about 40% off for license holders, and free if you bought within 3 months before it ships.

How can I tell if a host runs a licensed copy?

Enter the panel's domain on Verify an install. A licensed install proves it controls its domain with a signed fingerprint, so a cracked or copied panel can't pass. The page shows the tier and, if the owner chose to, their name; never keys or emails. Personal installs need no license, so a small personal panel may not show up at all.

What happens if the license server is down?

Nothing you'd notice. Servio checks in once a day and keeps working for 14 days without an answer. Even after that, a license problem only locks settings that need a license. It never stops game servers, blocks payments or breaks the client area.

Compatibility and moving

I run Pterodactyl. Do I have to start over?

No. Servio imports a Pterodactyl, Pyrodactyl or Pelican panel's users, eggs, nodes, servers, sub-users and schedules, after a dry run that shows what will change. Your Wings nodes can stay on Wings, or move to Servio Node in place.

Can I keep my Wings nodes?

Yes. Servio talks to Pterodactyl Wings and Pelican Wings as they are. A few features need Servio Node, such as the per-server egress firewall; the node page lists them.

What about Elytra?

Elytra nodes are adopted: Servio installs Servio Node in place, keeping volumes, server IDs and ports. Elytra's backup repositories stay downloadable until you restore or remove them.

Can I move my Tebex store?

Yes. The importer brings your store details, categories, packages, coupons, sales, gift cards and pages. You paste or upload commands once, and they keep working because the variable names match.

Webstores

Can I run a FiveM store?

Yes, but read our notice about FiveM first. Cfx.re's rules allow only Tebex to take payments for FiveM servers, and the license lets Rockstar act against servers that use anyone else. We built FiveM stores anyway; it's your call.

What about Minecraft's commercial guidelines?

Mojang's usage guidelines limit what Minecraft servers may sell. Servio adds a compliance checklist per package and a store-wide setting, so you can see what's cosmetic and what isn't. Staying within the rules is up to you.

Who handles tax and chargebacks?

You sell through your own gateway, so you're the merchant. Servio helps with Stripe Tax, VAT handling and dispute automation, and a merchant-of-record gateway option for owners who'd rather have a provider handle tax and disputes.

Security and data

How are game servers isolated?

Each server is a container with no Linux capabilities, a read-only root filesystem, a non-root user and hard limits, behind its own egress firewall. Only the node holds the Docker socket, and every panel-to-node request is signed.

Who owns my data?

You do. Self-hosted Servio runs on your machines with your database. The hosted edition offers a full export at any time, importable into a self-hosted install.

Is any of it open source?

The game plugins are MIT. Servio Node, the extension SDK, themes and eggs are open to read and extend, and never license-checked. The panel itself is commercial software, free for personal use.

Is there a hosted version?

Yes. NullDaily runs Servio for you, white-label on your own domain, while your nodes stay on your own machines. Ask us for a quote.

Run it your way.

Free for personal use, one payment to sell. Try the demo in your browser, or install Servio on your own machine in one line.
