Servio 1.0

Game servers, hosting and community in one panel.

Servio runs game servers, bots and websites on your own machines, sells them with billing and a storefront, and gives your players a webstore and forums. Install only the parts you need.

Free for personal use. The live demo runs in your browser on made-up data.

The one rule

We take no fees. You only pay your payment provider.

Not on hosting sales, not on webstore sales, not on the hosted edition. Buyers pay through your own Stripe or other gateway account and the money goes straight to you.

More than game servers

Everything your network runs on.

A network is more than its game servers. Servio runs the rest on the same nodes, with the same containers, limits and firewall, and attaches it all to the servers that need it.

Game servers

Minecraft, Rust, Valheim, Palworld, FiveM and anything else with an egg. Proxies and their backends as one network.

Bots

Discord, Telegram, Twitch and other bots in Node.js, Python, Java, Go or Bun. Deploy from Git, keep secrets in env vars, auto-restart, read the logs.

Websites

Your landing page, wiki or status page. Static, PHP or Node apps like Next.js, on their own domain with automatic TLS. Deploy by upload or Git.

Storage

S3-compatible buckets with access keys, for backups, maps, resource packs and uploads.

CDN

Fast public delivery from buckets and sites, with image resizing and custom domains.

Databases

Managed MySQL or MariaDB, PostgreSQL and Redis with a web console. Plus cron jobs and workers.

Hosting companies can sell every one of them as a plan. Connection details are injected into the servers, bots and sites you attach them to.

Who it's for

One panel, three kinds of owner.

Servio starts small and grows with you. Turn modules on when you need them; your data stays put.

Self-hosters with friends

Run a Minecraft world or a Valheim server on the box under your desk. Invite friends with a link and choose what each one may touch.

Preset: Me and my friends. Free for personal use.

Sharing a server with a friend: checkboxes for console, power, files, players, backups and schedules.

Communities

Give your players forums, a webstore for ranks and perks, and live server status, on your own domain. Bring servers hosted anywhere.

Preset: Community only, with Webstore.

Hosting companies

Modules

Install what you need. Nothing else.

Six modules share one login, one database and one look. A module that's off has no menus and no routes.

Webstore

An in-game store for ranks, keys and perks. Delivery to servers hosted here or anywhere.

Runs on its own or with Panel.

Communities

Forums for your players: boards, threads, members, alerts and moderation.

Runs on its own.

The installer asks one question.

"What are you setting up?" Pick a preset and Servio starts only the containers it needs: no node daemon for a forum, no billing tables for a friends server. Change your mind later on the Modules page.

How installing works

Servio's setup wizard asking what you're setting up, with six presets.
The real setup wizard, from the working panel.

The panel

Everything on one screen.

The server page puts address, resources and players on the left and a fast console in the middle. Power top right. No hunting through tabs.

  • Live console over WebSocket with real colors, history and command rules.
  • Files with an editor, plus SFTP on every node.
  • Backups and schedules: compressed backups, restores, cron, countdowns.
  • Players: kick, ban, op and say, read from the console.
  • Networks: a proxy and its backends as one group, with a live map.

Nodes

Your machines. Your nodes.

Servio Node is our daemon. Install it on any Linux box with Docker, pair it with a one-time code, and it shows up in the panel.

  • Already run Pterodactyl Wings or Pelican Wings? Connect those nodes as they are.
  • Elytra nodes are adopted into Servio Node in place: same volumes, same server IDs, same ports.
  • Each node page tells you which features its daemon supports.

Eggs

Any game that runs in a container.

An egg says how a game installs, starts, updates and reports players. Servio has its own egg format and reads Pterodactyl's.

  • Typed variables, port roles (game, query, RCON) and an update step that doesn't reinstall.
  • Imports Pterodactyl eggs (PTDL v1 and v2) and Pelican eggs, with a report of anything that didn't map.
  • Install scripts are shown to you before their first run.
  • Bundled: Paper, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, Bedrock, Valheim, Rust, Terraria, Palworld and more.

Security

Locked down by default.

Game servers run code you didn't write: mods, plugins, install scripts. Servio assumes that and isolates them.

Hardened containers

Every server runs as a non-root user with no Linux capabilities, a read-only root filesystem and hard memory, CPU and disk limits. Only the node holds the Docker socket; the panel never does.

Firewall per server

Each server sits behind its own egress gate, so a compromised plugin can't reach your LAN, your panel or other servers. You choose what it may talk to.

SFTP done right

Every node runs SFTP on port 2022. Logins are checked by the panel each time, with the person's own SFTP password and their permissions on that server.

Signed both ways

Every request between panel and node is signed. Consoles use short-lived tokens. Pairing codes work once, for an hour.

Permissions on the server

What a friend or client may do is checked by the API, not hidden in the UI. Anything they can't see answers 404, not 403.

Audit log

Sign-ins, power actions, file changes and settings, with who did it and when. Argon2id passwords, CSRF tokens and rate limits on sign-in.

Selling

A hosting company and its communities, together.

Hosting sells servers. Webstore and Communities serve the players on them. Every client can get free sites for their own community, if you allow it.

Hosting and Storefront

Sell game servers, bot hosting, web hosting, storage and databases. Plans and resource pools, configurable options, invoices, renewals, suspension and a client area that opens each service inline. A storefront you can edit file by file, with live preview.

Moving in

Bring what you already run.

Switching panels shouldn't mean reinstalling every server. Each import starts with a dry run and a report of what will change.
